Gin drinkers can now indulge in more than 80 unique international blends with the recent opening of G&T Cocktail Bar, conveniently positioned in Hong Kong's bustling Soho district.

Opening doors to the public in April, G&T Cocktail Bar owner Miki Grg has worked to develop an intimate and relaxed space for the after work and pre-dinner crowd to enjoy. The subtly-lit, contemporary bar features classic American saloon-style bench seating that easily accommodates small to medium sized groups. With floor to ceiling windows overlooking Hollywood Road, you'll feel as though you are in the perfect people-watching vantage point.

Unique to G&T Cocktail Bar are personalised cocktails each featuring premium and imported gins such as '50 Pounds' and 'Monkey 47'. Try their signature concoction named 'G&Tea' ($130) which is best shared between two people. Shaken on ice with lemon, juniper syrup, oolong tea and lemon bitters, it’s a subtle and smooth alternative to your standard gin and tonic and a lovely way to appreciate the aromatic botanicals found in up-market gin varieties. We loved that the drink was served in a glass teapot and paired with matching teacups!

If it’s the classic gin and tonic you're searching for, you will appreciate that the staff have also imported a premium Indian tonic water named 'Fever Tree' (an additional $10) that promises champagne-style carbonation. The fine and delicate bubbles make for easy drinking and won't overwhelm the star attraction – the Sips and Smith London Dry Gin!

Not sure which gin to order? Ask one of the experts behind the bar and they will be happy to introduce the different varieties and explain why they taste the way they do. The bar staff have a strong focus on 'specialty' gins and are proud of their extensive collection, sourced from more than seven countries.

Feeling peckish? A variety of bistro-style bar food including beef tacos, stadium fries and wagyu burgers are available (ordered from F.A.B just downstairs as the bar doesn't have a kitchen). And just like your standard bar, beer wine and champagne can be purchased in addition to all gin beverages.

Hours: Mon–Sat, 2pm–2am. Happy Hour daily, 5–9pm. Sunday, closed.
