FIT FLOPS

Heels are sexy. Almost undeniably. But even heel worshippers would need a pair of casual and comfy shoes in their down times. Yoga-goers, frequent flyers and new mothers even more so. While many people would go to Crocs for their colorful lightweight boat shoes, there are actually other options for quality and healthy footwear. Fit Flops is one of them.

This international chain store from UK does not have the most cutting-edge designs in town, but it features Microwobbleboard technology which is excellent at absorbing shock and relieving underfoot pressure. The women section include sandals, sneakers, canvas shoes, sheepskin boots and clogs. Palma Flame Raffia (£75, or roughly 900HKD) in its tropical orange and classy beige colors, can make a good pair with your colorful summer dress or pants.

There is also a good collection of men’s shoes including casual slip-on loafers, leather and suede sneakers, sneakers with ankle-height padded collar, canvas shoes, sandals and clogs. Supertone M Canvas(£75, or roughly 900HKD) [link:], one of the best-selling shoes of the brand, has a simple and cool design that is suitable for all seasons.

Fit Flops does not have a flagship store in Hong Kong. You can find their products in places like Lane Crawford in IFC Mall, Wing On in Sheung Wan,  and even Citysuper in Times Square. Alternatively you may visit their online shop. There, all products are clearly labeled with prices, along with descriptions, size information, technology and care instructions. There is also an amazing revolving feature which enables you to view the product 360 degree.

To keep your shoes in good condition, you can get yourself a five-piece carekit (£25) containing a cleaner, protector, de-odoriser, suede brush and cleaning cloth.
